Kina Billips
Kina has been a Legal Assistant with the Parmenter team for 38 years. While attending Muskegon Heights High School, she was hired by Parmenter under the Co-Op Job Share Program. After high school she attended Baker College of Muskegon and became a permanent employee at the firm in 1987. Over the years she has worked with multiple attorneys at the firm and has extensive training in almost every practice area. Currently, Kina is a Legal Assistant with the Litigation Team and the Criminal Prosecutions Paralegal to John C. Schrier,
Grant C. James, and Kennedy N. Potts. She also enjoys being a part of the firm’s Unity and Care Committees. Her dedication, passion, and “walking by faith and not by sight” approach allows Kina to remain dedicated to her profession with a humble spirit in order to serve others with patience, respect, courtesy, and compassion. Kina received a Love In Action Community Award in 2006. She is a member of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church where she serves diligently on the Usher Board Ministry and Youth Directorship Ministry. She continues to be an Every Day Hero sponsor for United Way. When she is away from the office, she loves sports, bowling, movies, gospel music, reading, and spending time with her family.
