Community Partners

Community support is a cornerstone of our Team at Parmenter Law. We participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, conduct an annual United Way of the Lakeshore workplace campaign, Bowl for Kids’ Sake, host a Caregiver Support Group, and work with our Community Partners. In addition to our continued relationship with the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce, every year Parmenter Law chooses a non profit organization to be our Community Partner. This relationship allows us the opportunity to learn how we can best support these essential organizations so we may better serve our clients and our Team.

Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce

The Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce is the premier business membership organization on the lakeshore representing approximately 1,200 businesses and organizations. Chamber members are as diverse as the community itself. They represent businesses of all sizes and industries and viewpoints from every position on the political spectrum. Together, we’re creating an environment for business success through community leadership, promotion, inclusive business advocacy and valued member services.

Harbor Hospice (2017)

Harbor Hospice care offers specialized health care with expertise in pain and symptom management, emotional support and spiritual care, as well as grief counseling for family members anticipating or following the death of their loved one. Harbor Hospice lives its mission to provide empathy, expertise and excellence in end of life caring.

No More Sidelines (2018)

No More Sidelines is a non-profit organization, run by volunteers, committed to helping children and young adults with special needs in our community. We provide children and young adults with special needs, ages seven and older, an opportunity to play sports year round and to participate in community events and outings. There is no similar organization to No More Sidelines which invites in children and their families, who face many different types of developmental challenges, and focuses on Fun, Friends, Socialization, and Support.

Pioneer Resources (2019)

Pioneer Resources is a non-profit organization committed to helping people with disabilities and seniors attain independence and dignity by creating opportunities for participation in the community. Pioneer Resources help their participants with everything from finding a place to live, finding a place to learn, providing transportation, providing employment and training, and providing recreational programs.
