Jacob Lovett — Muskegon, MI Associate

Jeanie has been a licensed attorney in Michigan since 1993 and has spent more than two decades utilizing her legal degree at law firms, non-profits, and corporate entities. She is also a trained civil and family law mediator. She brings this varied background and experience to her role at Parmenter Law.

Following law school, Jeanie began her career practicing corporate and real estate law. She left private practice to join the Child Abuse Council of Muskegon County, where she served as Executive Director for over 5 years. She also taught courses in business and human services at Muskegon Community College and Baker College. Jeanie then took her teaching and management experience to UFP Industries, where she developed and operated their corporate university. She held that role for five years until she elected to return to Muskegon and private practice.

Regardless of the job title or business type, what ties all of Jeanie’s experiences together is the opportunity to work with people to help them achieve their goals.

Jeanie is married and has two daughters who live too far away. Outside of the office, she tries to spend as much time as possible outside: walking, hiking, swimming, and skiing.
