Farrah Starr joined the Parmenter Law team in 2021 and brings a wealth of experience to her role as a Business & Real Estate Legal Assistant. She primarily assists attorneys Christopher Kelly and Benjamin Reider with a variety of real estate law matters, including contract review, property transactions, and legal research.
Before joining the firm, Farrah spent over 20 years in the financial services industry, where she developed a strong background in compliance, risk management, and client relations. Her diverse experience enables her to approach legal projects with a strategic, detail-oriented mindset.
A Muskegon, Michigan native, Farrah grew up in Columbus, Ohio, before returning to Muskegon after high school. She pursued higher education at Baker College, earning an Associate of Business Administration in Accounting/Management, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management, and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management.
Beyond her professional career, Farrah is deeply involved in the Muskegon community. She is a dedicated member and past president of the Women’s Division Chamber of Commerce and has served on multiple boards throughout Muskegon County. She has also been involved with United Way in various capacities including as a loaned executive and campaign cabinet division chair. In her spare time, she enjoys event planning, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband, three daughters, and her granddaughter.
