Clients and colleagues at Parmenter Law are very familiar with the skill and energy that Nancy devotes to her legal practice. That’s because Nancy’s history with Parmenter Law began in 1977, when she joined the firm as a paralegal. In 1980, she began working with an attorney in the estate planning practice. In the ensuing years, Nancy found her relationships with clients and her legal work so gratifying that she decided to go to law school in 2001.
Nancy continued with the firm as a paralegal until she earned her law degree in 2004. She is now a member of the firm, focusing her practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration, guardianship and conservatorship, real estate, and tax. Since joining the bar, she has been active in the Muskegon County Bar Association and the Lake Michigan Estate Planning Council, an organization that promotes cooperative efforts in the field of estate planning among professions and businesses in West Michigan.
Her experience as a paralegal gives Nancy unique insight into and perspective on client relationships. She takes an individualized, personal approach to practicing law and values highly the firm’s commitment to providing client-focused legal services. Nancy also embraces the firm’s collaborative work environment and congenial family atmosphere.
Born in Muskegon, Nancy is a lifelong Michigan resident. She now lives in Grand Haven. Nancy has always been devoted to the West Michigan community and is active in several local organizations.
