Abbie joined Parmenter Law in 2020. She is originally from Hale, Michigan, on the northeast side of the state. She attended undergrad at Alma College (Go Scots!) and received a Bachelor of Arts in History. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, Abbie served a year for AmeriCorps in Carson City, Michigan, working in the school district to create relationships with the community.
Abbie received her law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While in law school, Abbie participated in the Estate Planning clinic and interned at the State of Michigan Attorney General’s office in the Corporate Oversight Division. Prior to joining Parmenter, Abbie practiced in the areas of Estate Planning and Elder Law. She now focuses on Business and Real Estate law. She takes pride in fostering and maintaining excellent client relationships.
In her spare time, Abbie enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. Abbie and her husband spend much of their time outdoors: camping, kayaking, and walking the dog. She also volunteers at her church in the praise team, playing her violin, and in children’s ministry.
