Anna Urick Duggins
Anna is all about people. The focus of her legal career is all about making sure the elderly and their families are protected and taken care of. Anna prepares estate plan documents, including wills and trust agreements, marital property agreements, powers of attorneys, and special needs trusts.
She is also responsible for estate administration, Medicaid and Medicare eligibility, asset protection, veteran benefits, and long-term care planning. Her dedication to clients extends beyond the legal work; she hosts a support group for those who have placed a loved one in a nursing home and maintains a library of free resources for clients who need help with end of life issues. To Anna, the joy of her job comes from helping families through emotional and stressful times and giving them peace of mind.
A lifelong Michigan resident, Anna received her undergraduate degree from Albion College and her law degree from Wayne State University Law School. She was admitted to the Michigan State Bar in 1997 and immediately began working for Parmenter as an associate. In 2003, she became a partner. The team at Parmenter has become her “work family.” She cherishes the collaborative approach and freedom to get involved with her community.
When she’s not at work, Anna spends her free time with her husband and two sons. She enjoys traveling, especially to warm destinations like Key West and the Bahamas.
